Research shows body-based strategies are essential for managing anger and anxiety, behavior challenges, and stressful experiences. Movement Therapy for Families uses a variety of evidenced-based techniques to teach kids and grown-ups how to feel safe, calm, and balanced. Kids and their grown-ups learn movement, breathing, sensory, and connection practices that help release stuck stress patterns and build a healthy body and mind. Each family will have a pre-session for assessment and orientation, as well as a follow-up session after the series ends.
