
In response to the growing shortage of rural obstetric care, Myrtue Medical Center proudly partners with other rural healthcare facilities in the area to provide convenient, high-quality OB/GYN services to the communities we serve.
Myrtue Medical Center, in partnership with Manning Regional Healthcare Hospital (MRHC), provides OB/GYN services to the MRHC region. This partnership allows mothers to receive prenatal care at MRHC, deliver at Myrtue's Birthing Center, receive postpartum care with Dr. Anderson, and then receive post-natal/newborn care in Manning.
Myrtue's OB/GYN, Dr. Kelly Anderson, sees patients on the fourth Thursday of every month in Manning. OB/GYN Services at MRHC include:

Dr. Kelly Anderson is dedicated to supporting women’s health throughout every stage of life. She is trained in all aspects of women’s health, including annual exams, family planning, prenatal care, menopause management, breast health, and contraceptive counseling. She also performs surgeries and delivers babies. Dr. Anderson is passionate about patient education and creating a safe space for open, honest conversations.
“I look forward to contributing positively to the health and happiness of the women in this community,” said Dr. Anderson. “It is incredibly rewarding to assist patients in navigating the various stages of life, from adolescence to menopause, and everything in between. Myrtue Medical Center, in partnership with Audubon County Memorial Hospital (ACMH), provides obstetric services to the ACMH region. This partnership allows mothers to receive prenatal, delivery, and post-natal care at Myrtue in Harlan with Dr. Anderson and then receive newborn care in Audubon. ACMH also offers blood tests as part of routine care during pregnancy.
