About This Location
The Myrtue Medical Center's Rehab Services facility provides a 6,900 sq. ft. office and includes physical, occupational, pediatric, and speech therapy. The physical therapy area offers five treatment rooms, a wound treatment room, and an aquatic therapy gym. The Rehab Services area has a comprehensive pediatrics program. A designated room and special equipment provide help for children with conditions such as autism and cerebral palsy. Myrtue's occupational therapists help those who, because of injury or illness, need assistance in learning skills to help them live independent, productive lives. The aquatic therapy reduces the amount of stress placed on joints so it is well suited for patients who are in pain and are weakened due to injury or disability. Our therapy staff is committed to providing state-of-the-art rehabilitation services to the Shelby County area residents. Our goal is to help patients achieve their personal goals, whether it be improving work, home or leisure activities.
