About Sharla
Sharla Rau, OTR/L, has been a Occupational Therapist with Myrtue's Rehabilitation Services team since November 2007. She primarily works with inpatients at MMC, but also treats outpatients, pediatrics, and home health patients. Sharla also has continued training in lymphedema therapy and vestibular rehabilitation. Sharla decided to pursue a career in healthcare after helping her family take care of her grandmother from metastasized breast cancer that affected her life greatly.
Appointments with Sharla are available on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Sharla and her husband, Jason, are parents to three children: Ashlyn, Jack, and Haley. She enjoys watching her children participate in a wide variety of activities. Originally from Verdigre, NE, a small Czech community, Sharla has a strong affection for Czech foods, particularly poppy seed kolaches and potato dumplings!
