About Suzanne

Suzanne Goshorn, PTA, has been a part of Myrtue's Rehabilitation Services team since July 2001. She mainly works with patients in outpatient and home health settings, but also supports inpatient care when needed. She treats a diverse range of patients with diagnoses such as orthopedic, neurologic, pulmonary, and cardiac issues, general weakness or deconditioning, wound care, and lymphedema.

Appointments with Suzanne are available on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. 

After undergoing physical therapy herself following a car accident during her psychology degree, Suzanne decided to pursue a career in a healthcare profession. Completing her education at ISU helped Suzanne realized her passion for physical therapy. “The best aspect of my job is meeting individuals, aiding them in regaining function, and providing support throughout their recovery journey, both physically and emotionally,” said Suzanne.

Outside of work, Suzanne and her husband, Kevin, have two daughter; Nicole and Brooke. Nicole is an ISU nurse and Brooke is in nursing school at UNMC in Lincoln. Suzanne enjoys spending time with family, friends, and their two dogs. She also loves the outdoors, enjoys traveling, and watching Iowa State sporting events. Go Cyclones!
