Occupational Therapy
Myrtue’s Occupational Therapy assists recovering from an injury/illness
or helping to maintain the performance of activities required for everyday
life. Activities depend on the individual and may include household tasks,
work or self-care. In pediatrics, our therapists focus on helping children
develop the skills they need to grow into a functional, independent adult,
regardless if the issue is physical or cognitive. This means addressing
issues that can hamper a child’s ability to perform common tasks
or progress through the stages of physical, social or cognitive development.
