Myrtue’s patient population that is seeking specialized women’s health services has continued to rise over the past several years. In 2024, Jennifer Bruck, ARNP, began partnering with Myrtue’s OB/GYN, Dr. Kelly Anderson, providing gynecological services, obstretic support, and initial newborn appointments in our Women's Health Center. Through this partnership, we can continue to ensure that every woman who walks through our doors receives the expert, compassionate, and personalized care she deserves.
Patients are able to start OB visits with a Myrtue maternity provider as early as five to six weeks, or when they have a positive home pregnancy test. Once the pregnancy has been confirmed, patients will begin the following timetable. Every patient's story is unique. This care outlook is only a sample outline and may be adjusted according to your needs, determined by you and your provider.
Myrtue's Birthing Center provides comprehensive care for both mother and baby during their stay with us. Your OB provider will complete daily visits with the delivering mother to ensure that their body is healing correctly after giving birth. In addition to this, one of Myrtue's trusted newborn providers, selected by the parents, will perform a daily check-in with the newborn baby and answer any questions you may have. This ensures that both mother and baby are receiving the necessary care and attention to recover and thrive. When the patients are discharged from the Birthing Center, they will be scheduled for follow-up appointments for postpartum and newborn care.
At the Birthing Center, patients can rest easy knowing that they will receive top-notch care from experienced providers and caring nurses. The facility is designed to provide a comfortable and secured environment for both mother and baby, with a focus on ensuring that they receive the support and education to be prepared for life at home.

"I want my patients to feel comfortable talking to me about any troublesome symptoms or embarrassing topics. I am passionate about educating my patients on healthy lifestyles and promoting positive, life-long healthy changes. It is important for my patients to know I am here for a lifetime of care - not just the babies," Dr. Kelly Anderson expresses.

"I really enjoy the emotions involved in being an obstetrician. Delivering babies creates an atmosphere of excitement and anticipation. It's fun to be there, in the moment, as families experience the joy of welcoming a new member to their family," stated Dr. Anderson.
