Myrtue Medical Center Earns National Recognition for Commitment to Excellence in Cardiovascular Care for the 8th Consecutive Year

Myrtue Medical Center’s Emergency and Inpatient Departments have once again been nationally recognized by the American Heart Association (AHA) for their commitment to improving outcomes for cardiovascular patients. This eighth consecutive year of recognition reinforces Myrtue’s standing as a leader in rural health excellence.
These awards are tied to the AHA’s Get With The Guidelines® initiatives. By participating in these programs, Myrtue Medical Center consistently delivers science-based treatment for high-stakes conditions, including:
- ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) heart attacks
- Stroke and chest pain
- Heart failure
- Atrial fibrillation and Type 2 diabetes management
