About Victoria
Victoria Griffin joined the staff of Myrtue Mental Health Center in 2026 as a Mental Health Therapist. She is from the surrounding New Orleans area in Louisiana and originally came to Iowa to finish high school after Hurricane Katrina. This unfortunate event lit up her passion for the field and her desire to help others. Victoria completed her Bachelor’s in Psychology at Iowa Wesleyan in 2011 and moved back home to work in the helping profession at a non-profit women’s shelter in New Orleans. She received her Master’s at Loyola University New Orleans in 2019. In 2023, she moved back to Iowa to settle down with her husband and two daughters.
Victoria works with all ages (5 and above) and has experience with a variety of mental health concerns, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, life changes, grief, etc. She is currently obtaining her EMDR certification.
