About Shelly

Shelly is a Psychiatric Advanced Practice Provider who joined Myrtue Mental Health Center in December 2025. Shelly graduated from the University of Iowa in 2018 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, and from the University of Iowa in 2024 with a Doctorate Degree in Nursing. Shelly has been working in the field of mental health nursing for 10 years.

She currently holds her Iowa license and is board certified with the American Nursing Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Psychiatric Mental Health Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner.

Shelly works with children, adolescents and adults needing medication management for a variety of mental health needs, including mood disorders, anxiety, ADHD, depression, and dementia.
