About Shaylee
Shaylee Yates joined Myrtue's Behavioral Health team in 2023 as a Behavioral Health Associate. She graduated from Northwestern College in 2023 with a bachelor's degree in psychology, as well as minors in sociology and leadership studies. While Shaylee has lived in Iowa since 2007, she moved to Shelby County in 2019. Her future ambitions include earning a master's or doctoral degree in the field of forensic psychology or neuropsychology.
Shaylee dedicates her time at Myrtue's Behavioral Health to making a difference in the lives of those she works with. Specifically, she focuses on aiding children and families through the Behavioral Health Intervention Services (BHIS) program and the Community Support Services (CSS) program. Shaylee enjoys helping people fill their needs and getting to know each one of her patients.
When she's not busy making an impact, Shaylee enjoys reading and staying active. Her love for athletics began in college, where she competed as a sprinter on the track and field team.
