About LeaLa

LeaLa is a Community Mental Health Provider who joined Myrtue Mental Health Center in June 2025. LeaLa graduated from the University of Iowa in 2024 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work and a minor in Psychology. LeaLa graduated from the University of Iowa in 2025 with a Master’s Degree in Social Work. LeaLa works in our community based programs, supporting clients through Community Support Services (CSS) and Behavioral Health Intervention Services (BHIS). These services focus on working with children and adults in the community who are interested in gaining new skills, learning new resources, and gaining independence.
