As the days get warmer and flowers start to bloom, the spring allergy season is growing near. This can make it difficult to distinguish the signs of a common cold from those of seasonal allergies. Please take a look at the following chart to compare cold and allergy symptoms.

One major distinction is the duration of your symptoms. If you have been experiencing symptoms for 3 or more weeks, it may be time to see an allergist or ENT. Of course, the only way to get a confirmed diagnosis and referral is by discussing it with your primary care provider first. You can schedule an appointment by calling 712.755.4516.
