About Tarah

Tarah Devlin-Lawler, T-LMHC, joined the staff at Myrtue Medical Center Behavioral Health in July of 2020 as a Mental Helath Therapist working with students at Harlan Community School District. During the 2020-2021 school year, Tarah will also be providing therapy services to students at the Shelby County Catholic School. Her primary focus is with children Pre-K to 5th grade. Tarah has nearly 10 years of human service experience. She completed her counseling internship at Myrtue Medical Center Behavioral Health in 2010. She graduated from Morningside College in 2008 with a Bachelor’s in General Psychology and Argosy University – Denver in 2011 with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Tarah has resided in Shelby County since 2010. She lives outside of Defiance with her husband and three children ages 6, 5, and 3. “This journey has been a long one. I can’t wait to start working with kids all day”, said Tarah. She is excited to incorporate her experiences with children to achieve positive health and wellness outcomes.
