About Britney

Britney is a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW). Britney attended Buena Vista University where she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work in 2011. She then went on to obtain her Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Iowa in 2019. She has a wide range of experience including case management, assessment, providing therapy for victims of trauma, family, safety-risk-permanency services, and counseling at an inpatient substance abuse facility. Joining the team in June 2019, Britney currently helps to manage the substance abuse program at Myrtue Medical Center Behavioral Health. She also provides traditional mental health therapy to individuals ranging from later adolescence through adulthood. Britney’s experience includes treating clients with anxiety, depression, PTSD, and substance abuse issues.

Britney is trained in providing multiple evidenced-based treatments:
