Accepting Grant Applications for Shelby County Nonprofit Organizations

The Shelby County Health Foundation is a nonprofit organization that supports the advancement of healthcare services throughout Shelby County. During its 30-year existence, the Shelby County Health Foundation has given over $3 million to aid and support healthcare services and programs. Most recently, the Health Foundation granted $180,000 to organizations in Shelby County to help fund the following community betterment projects: education scholarships, equipment for fire and rescue departments, cardiac monitoring equipment and area nursing home transportation.

Organizations providing health-related services in Shelby County are eligible. They must be able to demonstrate broad community/county support. Requests for general operational funds will not be considered. The Shelby County Health Foundation’s mission is to provide funds to those nonprofit and governmental agencies that are involved in community betterment through their organizations.

Organizations can apply for the grant through Friday, May 6, 2022. Grant recipients will be announced on or around May 23, 2022.
