Our vision will assist families in nurturing their children in a safe and supporting environment, which will provide the opportunity in preparing our children for a safe and healthy future.

The target population is families with children who are prenatal to kindergarten. This program is open to ALL families in Shelby County with priority given to families and children identified as high risk, but open to all families regardless of income and need.

The Kids Korner store is located in the Community Health office at Myrtue Medical Center, 1213 Garfield Avenue, Harlan, Iowa. This will be the distribution site where families can redeem earned points for incentive items such as maternity/infant supplies, household safety items, diapers, educational toys and books, and other items necessary to support a safe and secure environment and to promote intellectual stimulation of young children.
