FOOD SERVICE WORKER
Dietary Department
Part-time position (24 hours per week). Works 6:00 am to 2:30 pm OR 10:00 am to 6:30 pm. Works every 3rd weekend. Rotates holidays. Sets up cafeteria for breaks and meals. Delivers patient trays to the floors. Washes dishes. Serves customers in cafeteria. Replenishes supplies. General cleaning and other duties as assigned.
FAMILY PLANNING (HCCMS) ARNP
Department of Community Health
Full-time or part-time. Works Monday through Friday. Some 10-hour days with evenings. Provides reproductive wellness exams and other clinical services for 5 county family planning programs. Travels within the 5 counties on a daily basis for clinics. Training for long acting, reversible contraception will be provided. Basic Life Support required. State of Iowa ARNP license required. Valid Iowa driver's license and proof of automobile insurance required.
ADMISSIONS CLERK
Part-time position. Works 24 hours per week. Must be flexible and wiling to work some weekends. Registers patients for hospital services. Acts as switchboard operator. Requires ability to provide excellent customer service at all times. Obtains demographic and insurance information. Collects co-pays and deductibles at point of service. Requires attention to detail. Must have excellent customer service skills. Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and emergencies.
REGISTERED NURSE
Medical/Surgical Department
Full-time position. Works 11:00 am to 11:00 pm. Utilizes the nursing process to provide and direct quality patient care. Directs and provides patient/family teaching. Provides leadership when working with team members in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice. Must be licensed in the state of Iowa. BLS certification required. Would consider hiring as a part-time position.
BEHAVIORAL HEALTH DIRECTOR
Licensed Independent Social Worker or Psychiatric APRN
Full-time position. Functions as Clinical Director and Departmental Manager for Behavioral Health Department. Also provides therapy for children, adolescents, and adults. Must be licensed or license eligible in the State of Iowa as an LISW/APRN with psychiatric certification.
LICENSED INDEPENDENT SOCIAL WORKER
Behavioral Health Department
Full-time position. Works 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday AND 10:00 am to 7:00 pm on Tuesday. Provides therapy for children, adolescents, and adults. Must be licensed or license eligible in the State of Iowa as an LISW.
SPANISH INTERPRETERS
On-call position. Works as needed and as available. Provides English to Spanish and Spanish to English interpretation services, as well as translation services as needed, to non-English speaking, Spanish speaking public served by Myrtue Medical Center. Spanish interpretation/translation experience preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required. Ability to communicate effectively and accurately, both orally and in writing. Required knowledge of medical terms in English and Spanish required.

Full-time position. Works 7:00 pm to 7:00 am. Works every third weekend. Utilizes the nursing process to provide and direct quality patient care. Directs and provides patient/family teaching. Provides leadership when working with team members in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice. Eligible for a 15% night commitment differential + night shift differential. Must be licensed in the State of Iowa. BLS certification required.
TRANSCRIPTIONIST
Medical Records Department
Full-time position (40 hours per week). Works Monday thru Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Position requires 2 years experience in medical transcription with a thorough knowledge of word processing, medical terminology, anatomy and physiology. Primary responsibilities include transcription of all hospital, outpatient clinic and rural health clinic dictation. Candidate must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills. RESPIRATORY CARE PRACTITIONER
Respiratory Therapy Department
Full-time position (36-40 hours per week, plus call). Usually works 2 weeks of four 10-hour days. One week of five 8-hour days. Three weeks of day shift rotation. Works every third weekend. Performs all aspects of respiratory therapy procedures; prepares and issues equipment; performs basic pulmonary function testing; performs EKG tests, stress tests, and holter monitoring. Assumes on-call duties 2 to 3 times per week. Must be licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in the state of Iowa.
