Diabetes

We provide basic information to clients to enable them to self-manage their diabetes monthly, two afternoons for four hours each (1:00 to 5:00 p.m.). Minimum of three participants per class.

 

Referral from a medical practitioner is needed. Medicare, Medicaid and most insurances will pay for diabetes education. We are certified by the Iowa State Department of Public Health and the American Diabetes Association.
